Katie and Phil's house was perfect for our family getaway to Eau Claire for the weekend. Our daughter graduated from UW-Eau Claire and it was so nice to have a place that was big enough for the whole family to celebrate together. The house had so much room. The 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms was perfect for our group of 9. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and the beds were all very comfy. The house is very cozy, and we even saw deer in the backyard each day. The game room in the basement is a nice touch. The house is in a perfect location, very peaceful and quiet. The driveway had plenty of room for everyone to park. I would definitely recommend Katie and Phil's place to anyone visiting Eau Claire.

Katie & Phil’s house is beautiful! We had our family Christmas there. It was big enough that everyone had their own space, and there was plenty of room for all of us to be together! The game room is an added bonus! Kept everyone entertained for hours! I would highly recommend this place!

We had a group of eight (four adults and four kids) together for a weekend revisiting our old stomping grounds at UW–Eau Claire. This house was the perfect retreat — after visiting campus and catching a game, we didn’t need to go anywhere else! There was plenty to keep everyone entertained, and the setting was beautiful. We enjoyed watching deer in the mornings over coffee, and the boys had space to toss the football and be loud without worrying about disturbing anyone. The pool table, basketball game and movie space for some great use. This is a great spot for families and groups alike!

The house was perfect for what we wanted. Beautiful property, well stocked home. We hiked at the near by park, hit a few local places for dinner, and had bonfires at night!

We had a wonderful time! The house was perfect for the 11 adults and 2 young children we had staying there. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms & space to move around in. Was quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed the river view. Definitely recommend staying here - especially for a large group.

We had a group of adults staying at this property for the weekend. We all enjoyed the game room. Great to have enough restrooms for 8 adults, rather than having to wait our turn for the shower! Very peaceful back yard, lots of privacy. All was as shown in the listiing. The place worked great for our group.

This place was adorable! We rented it with a small group of people, the weather ended up being too cold to go out on the boat and swim. But we still had a good time.

Our family recently sold the cabin we’ve had for over 40 years so this was a first experience together some place new. We really loved the spacious cabin, wrap around deck, the views and that each main bedroom had its own bathroom. It accommodated folks that were ages 2-83 very nicely. We rented a boat from Lake Wissota Pontoon Rental per Katie & Phil’s recommendation and it was so fun to explore both the river and lake. We would love to come back again next year! Our 3-generation family thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay! Very clean upon our arrival, comfortable beds and couches, and extremely well-appointed. Plenty of towels, extra blankets and pillows. Loved that there was labeling and signs to help us find/put back items. Great communication with the hosts, always quick to reply. We rented the pontoon for 3 days, and fished (unlucky this trip), sunned and toured around very easily. The lake was practically empty, and super smooth for the kayaks. Herons, loons, eagles, deer, river otters--bring your binoculars! A lovely home and outdoor areas. Acoustics are weird in a dome, which was kind of fun! We look forward to renting again!

I don't know if the pictures really do the house justice. It felt larger in person than even the pictures made it seem. So much space for the kids to set up and play while the older ones in the group gathered around the large table for various games. The house is well stocked with many items you may be looking for. The consensus from the group is we'll definitely be back in the future. If you have a family reunion/gathering you're planning, this is the place.
